Michelle Dunn, Founder
It is a privilege to support my clients as they develop and use their strengths to overcome life’s challenges.
After years in private practice, I decided to expand the work I am doing. My friend Jamie and I had thriving solo practices, but we wanted to build something together that could serve more people where other clinicians could be released to bring their best to this field. And so Mid-Atlantic Mental Health was born.
I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a Maryland State Board-Approved Supervisor and an EMDR Consultant. In the therapy room I absolutely love using EMDR and IFS with my clients who are seeking healing from life’s traumas and difficulties.
In addition to my work in the therapy room, I provide supervision and consultation to other professionals as well as present and speak at workshops and other engagements.
I live in suburban Baltimore with my husband and sons and our cockapoo Zeke, affectionately known as Baby Poo. I had hopes of a therapy dog, but Zeke’s mischievous flair has complicated that pursuit. Send me an email if you would like to join us at Mid-Atlantic. I would love to hear from you!
