Ian Stout, Therapist
My passion is to see people transformed by reclaiming what was lost and becoming all they were made to be.
I believe in creating an atmosphere where clients feel safe to be who they are and empowered to become more who they want to be. My style incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with Narrative Therapy. When working with couples, I primarily utilize my training with the Gottman Method. My focus is working with adolescents, young adults, and couples.
I completed my Master’s of Arts in Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary after completing my undergraduate degree at Towson University. Before becoming a therapist I spent seven years working for a local nonprofit.
I live in Baltimore County with my wife, Sarah, and our daughter, Penelope. Please send me an email if you would like to connect. I would love to hear from you!
